Ubuciko BamaXhosa (Inxeba Lendoda)

Faqane brings an 11-track Maskandi album to the table with Ubuciko BamaXhosa (Inxeba Lendoda), released on 1 April 2026. The project carries a strong collaborative presence across its tracklist, with Ubuciko BamaXhosa and Sthembele appearing throughout much of the album.

The album opens with Amawethu, featuring Sthembele, Evans Smith and Ubuciko BamaXhosa. From there, Faqane moves through tracks including Indaba Zothando, Inxeba lendoda, Thumekile and Ivangeli, the latter adding Mnyovu to the guest list alongside Sthembele and Ubuciko BamaXhosa.

Sthembele features on the first seven tracks, while Ubuciko BamaXhosa appears across the full project. Their names return on the closing stretch, including Mbulali, Niyadelela, Angeke ndikhale and Abantu Bakuthi. Mbulali, Niyadelela and Angeke ndikhale also feature Ubuciko BamaXhosa alongside Sthembele.

The tracklist gives the album a clear collaborative shape while keeping Faqane at the centre of every song credit. Other titles include Indoda YoMXHOSA and Makhelwane, with the latter featuring Sthembele and Ubuciko BamaXhosa.
